Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
FIGHTING CHILDHOOD CANCER ONE CUP AT A TIME
-
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex" Scott.
At the age of 4 while suffering from neuroblastoma, Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement. ALSF’s mission is to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer causes, primarily research into new treatments and cures, as well as encourage and empower others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer.
